Baskets and Breakfast You know the saying, "A little friendly competition never hurt anyone."? Well, The Silent Auction Committee is using some "friendly competition" to help build up our supply of great auction items. All church groups (classes, groups or circles) are officially challenged to create themed baskets to be put up for bid at the Silent Auction. Building a basket can be a pretty easy task if everyone contributes an item or two. And, it's a fun way for a group to show their personality. After all, the themes can be anything- from gardening to football to chocolate... really to wherever your imagination takes you! Baskets must be completed and turned in by October 12. The winning group will receive bragging rights, and a homemade-from-scratch breakfast for everyone on October 19!
